He was educated at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Tehran, and his cooperation with Tofigh magazine began in 1964. He then held numerous solo exhibitions in prestigious galleries and was honored many times in international caricature competitions. A collection of Derambakhsh’s works created over the past 35 years has been published by Michel Lafon, France. Many of his works have found their way into prestigious museums around the world, from the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran to the Avignon Museum in Paris. Derambakhsh is the winner of several prestigious international awards, and numerous independent exhibitions of his works have been held in various countries around the world.
