To be seen, to be heard, and to invite dialogue around the artworks — these are integral parts of promoting the values at the heart of Leilan.
The first encounter with the artists’ artworks takes place during the Leilan unveiling ceremony. Each year, on the threshold of Nowruz and the renewal of life, artists, special guests, and members of the media gather to experience this initial moment of unveiling.
Subsequently, the artwork Renewal is produced as a limited-edition hand print, signed by the artist. Coinciding with Nowruz, it is presented as a New Year’s gift to prominent business figures, accompanied by an introduction to the artist and an explanation of the philosophy behind Leilan — as a token of appreciation for a year of effort and partnership.
Afterwards, the artworks are exhibited in the Leilan Project’s permanent gallery. Their images and stories are shared online during relevant occasions, extending their dialogue into the digital space. In addition, all artworks are made accessible to the public through the project’s official website and social media platforms.
Media reflection forms a vital part of this process: interviews with artists and the project’s founder, visual reports, essays, and press conferences all serve to broaden dialogue around these values. Exhibiting artworks, displaying them in public spaces, and offering limited editions during special events are also among the ongoing initiatives.
At present, the Leilan Project exists as a private collection supported by Nasser Pashapour Nikoo. Our vision for the coming years is to enable more people to become acquainted with these values — and the way of life they represent — so that their influence may continue to grow within society.
